Meet the Gideons
Tony and Leah Gideon between them have decades of experience in Christian ministry and overseas missions. Their heart is for the poorest of the poor and to see God's transforming love touch their lives.

Tony became a Minister of the Gospel at age 17. He has served as a missionary for many years in, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Mexica, Peru. Speaking fluent Spanish has enable him to minister profoundly to these Spanish speaking nations.
​
Tony has a Masters degree in Theology, from seminary in the states. He has serves as Lead Pastor in Churches is South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas for over 15 years.
​
In between missions and ministry, Tony has worked as a Professor of Spanish, and as a Spanish Interpreter for patients in large Emergency Rooms.
Leah has been involved in Church leadership and Christian ministry for many years. She studied at Hillsong College, Sydney, Australia, where she graduated with Certificate in Pastoral Leadership. She also has a Bachelor of Theology degress.

Leah has experience in all aspects of church life, including children's ministry, leading a Bible college and pastoring a new church plant. She has lived in the Philippines for almost 2 years in total and has been serving there for 9 years.

Leah Registered as a Nurse in 2004 and has many years of experience working in hospitals in the UK. Her speciality is NICU nursing. Leah has also participated in numberous medical missions around the world, partnering with Joyce Meyer Ministries and other organisations. She has served as a nurse in Uganda, Cambodia, Madagascar and The Philippines.
Leah grew up in the south coast of England where she had a very profound love for the Lord from a young age. Tony grew up in the state of South Carolina, and accepted the Lord at age 17, he has been involved in ministry ever since.

Tony and Leah met on the mission field in 2017 while serving with Iris Global. They got married in January 2019, and are completely in love. Every day together is an adventure. They have served together in multiple nations, throughout South America, Africa, Asia, USA and the UK. They have helped staff missions schools together as well as ministered at many different churches together.
​
They both have a huge heart for the nations, especially the Philippines, together, they are a powerful force for the kingdom of God.
With a wide variety of gifts and talents between the two of them, they love to preach, speak at conferences, lead Bible studies. But, they both feel the presence and power of God most effectively when they are sitting with the poor. Their desire is to be His hands and feet, hug the hurt and kiss the broken. They love to sit with the unseen and marginalised when no cameras are around.

Saying yes to Jesus is their greatest joy, despire opposition from people, they are honoured to go where He calls them. They are not afraid of the opinions of man, and will willingly walk into dark and dangerous terriroty to show the low of Jesus to one person.

They continually seek to, 'Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.' - Matthew 10:8
